IPS News 1

December 1st, 2006 by Pam McDowall

It feels like ages since I was blogging - and I suppose it was. What is my excuse? The usual! I am not going to feel guilty though, as this is a personal blog and supposed to be a pleasurable experience.
I have spent a fair bit of time over the last couple of weeks getting Inchinnan Primary School News 1 (hence the catchy blog title!!) off the ground, but I have to confess to allowing myself to get bogged down by covering classes and it has taken a lot longer than anticipated to get up and running. Imagine my frustration tonight when I couldn’t upload it to the website!! (Has anyone else in run into this Quicktime version/OS 10.3.9 issue when viewing videos through the school network?) Anyway, it has finally been finished to the pupils’ satisfaction - although the sound is not the best (can anyone recommend a good mike to connect directly to a Canon video camera?) - but the most important thing is the children are immensly proud of it, as they should be, and the next team are raring to go. Hopefully, this team will complete the task within the alloted time! Check it out on our school website!
